The American Center Plzen (ACP) is a beneficial organization which was founded in the year 1995 with the mission of strenghtening relations between city of Plzen and the United States and to fulfill the role of a modern educational and cultural establishment.
The ACP provides the following services and activities for the public, students, schools, and commercial entities:
Courses of American English
Internet Café for the public
Lectures for schools
Lectures on the history and present of the USA
Discussions with persons of interest
Exhibitions and other events
The ACP also provides numerous additional services. Some of these include the leasing of assembly space, support in organizing foreign visits, presentations, public or private lectures, and meetings. The ACP has worked on projects in coorperation with the own of Plzen and other public culture and education events. City residents, tourists, and businessmen alike are able to appreciate the help in finding information on the USA and the Czech Republic at the ACP.
